Health Insurance Enrollment Assistance

Care across the generationsSt. Luke's University Health Network is now helping provide health insurance enrollment assistance to uninsured people within the St. Luke's network.

According to the Affordable Care Act, all U.S. citizens must have health insurance coverage or pay a penalty. Based on household income and dependents, you may be eligible for insurance at low or no cost through Medicaid or you may be eligible for financial assistance toward the cost of your premium. All insurance plans bought through the marketplace must cover the same set of essential benefits. Open enrollment is from October 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014.

St. Luke's Certified Application Counselors (CAC) can assist the uninsured understand their medical insurance coverage options and help facilitate enrollment.

There is no fee to meet with a CAC.
