St. Luke’s University Health Network’s ‘Night of Heroes’ Celebrates 10th Anniversary Sept. 20

Tickets for annual celebration of hospital’s Adult Trauma Center go on sale 10 am on June 20

Bethlehem, PA (6/19/14) -- St. Luke’s University Health Network invites the community to join it for the 10th Anniversary Celebration of “Night of Heroes,” the annual event honoring trauma survivors, their loved ones and the teams of physicians and specialists at St. Luke’s Adult Level I Trauma Center who touched their lives. The event, set for 6 pm on Saturday, September 20, will take place at the ArtsQuest Center and SteelStacks campus in Bethlehem; tickets go on sale Friday, June 20 at 10 am at www.artsquest.org/nightofheroes

The 2014 Night of Heroes, presented in partnership with Service Electric Cable TV, promises to be the largest in the event’s history, with live music on three stages and a fabulous evening filled with food, dancing and fun. The event includes concerts by dance band Lucky Seven, UUU and local blues icons the Craig Thatcher Band, as well as cocktails, dinner and more. At 8 pm, the Trauma Center will highlight two patient cases during a special video presentation, followed by an awards ceremony honoring the members of the multidisciplinary team that played an important role in the patients’ recovery.

Since the first Night of Heroes in 2005, more than 800 awards have been presented to area doctors, therapists, specialists, trauma survivors and their loved ones. During the past three years, more than 600 people annually have attended the celebration of life held at SteelStacks

Ticket options begin at $50 per person; other options include $75 per person/$150 per couple; $200 per person; $400 per couple. Cocktail attire. Tickets for the Craig Thatcher band, which will take place at the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks, are only $15.
