St. Luke's Grand Slam Baseball Combine 2014

Lehigh Valley, PA (6/30/2014)
- The Grand Slam Baseball Combine, presented by St. Luke's Sports PerformanceChandler Bats and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, is a high-value exposure opportunity for high school baseball players who have the desire and ability to play college baseball. This exciting event is open to players ages 13 to 18.

The Grand Slam Baseball Combine is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9 from 8 am – 3 pm. Held at the Lehigh Valley IronPigs' Coca-Cola Park, this event will allow each player to individually showcase his talents in competitive skill stations that college coaches and scouts use to find players for their baseball programs.

New this year: to more accurately judge the athletes against their peers, three age groups have been established: 13/14, 15/16 and 17/18 year-olds. First, second and third place awards will be given for each individual event in each age group as well as a “most-improved” award for each event in each age group (for those athletes who attended last year’s Combine) and an overall Combine first place award in each age group. In total, athletes will be recognized with 75 total awards for the day!

Individual skill testing results will be made available to all participants in attendance in a detailed report suitable to send to interested coaches. The cost of the Combine is $70 for each player. Registration closes at 5 pm on July 7.
