Family doctors or PCPs (primary care physicians) are partners or coaches in helping patients manage overall health. They are also the keepers of patient health history—the doctor other doctors call for information if hospitalized for a serious medical condition. One of the best ways to stay healthy is by having a strong working partnership with a primary care physician!
