Bethlehem, PA (8-16-2011) - Northampton Community College (NCC) and St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network are working together to provide easy access to health care in South Bethlehem. St. Luke's SouthSide Medical Center and St. Luke's KidsCare pediatric practice have relocated to NCC's Fowler Family Southside Center located at 511 East Third Street. These services, previously offered at St. Luke's Union Station, will have room to expand and will also allow NCC students to have hands-on health care experience.

“The partnership with St. Luke's fulfills our vision for the Fowler Family Southside Center. The medical center will not only afford excellent health care for the Southside residents, but the College's allied health students will be engaged in clinical practice in an interdisciplinary team setting while learning from talented health care professionals,” states Dr. Art Scott, President of NCC. “It is a win-win situation for everyone.”

Rick Anderson, President & CEO of St. Luke's agrees. “We have moved adult and pediatric health care into the heart of South Bethlehem. This move will allow patients without access to transportation an easier way to receive care in their own neighborhood. The move will allow St. Luke's and NCC to serve more patients and offer expanded services in the larger space that we occupy in our new location on the second floor.”
