Darla Frack Named VP

Darla Frack is Named the First Vice President, Patient Care Services, for St. Luke's Riverside Hospital

Bethlehem, PA (3/16/2011) - Northampton County resident Darla Frack, RN, BSN, has been named the first Vice President of Patient Care Services, St. Luke's Riverside Hospital. She currently serves as a Patient Care Manager at St. Luke's Hospital-Bethlehem Campus, a position she has held for the past four years. During that time, Darla also served as the interim manager for two additional nursing units until these positions were filled.

Focus on High Quality Care and Excellent Customer Service

Since joining St. Luke's in 2006, Darla has continuously improved employee satisfaction and patient satisfaction scores, a theme that will be the hallmark of care at St. Luke's Riverside Hospital.”

Under Darla's leadership, Press Ganey patient satisfaction scores rose from the 68th to the 94th percentile over the past four years. Employee satisfaction increased from 46 percent to 89 percent over the past three years.

A Successful Career in Nursing

Prior to St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Frack held the position of Director, Medical-Surgical Unit and Intensive Cardiac Care Unit, for Blue Mountain Health System, Palmerton Hospital. She also held various nursing educator and staff nurse positions at other area hospitals.

Darla earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Cedar Crest College and will soon complete her master's degree in nursing administration from Cedar Crest College. Darla is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Medical-Surgical Nurse and Nurse Executive. She is also an active member of several hospital committees aimed at improving quality and customer service.

Darla will transition into her role at St. Luke's Riverside Hospital over the next several months. She resides in Danielsville with her husband and son.
