To find Rising Stars, the publishers of Super Lawyers and Law & Politics send ballots to the most recent group of Super Lawyers: the top 5 percent of attorneys in the state. Rising Star lawyers are chosen based on a general survey as well as extensive independent credentials research, a blue ribbon panel review process, a final review and check of good standing by the research department. All selected attorneys must be 40 years old or younger, or in practice 10 years or less.
