The value of the far reaching benefits of strength training has been known for some time. However, the value of strength/resistance training is just becoming realized and embraced by women.

In the past, women focused on aerobic/cardio type exercise, some stretching routines and minimal strength training. Resistance training was typically limited to light dumbbells. This type of training falls short of achieving the full benefits of progressive resistance/strength training.

Thanks to ongoing research and cutting edge programming, progressive strength training programs are now part of any woman's complete fitness program.
