Endoscopic Plantar Fasciotomy for Heel Spur Syndrome – Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the thin connective tissue that spans the bottom of the foot and causes tension. This condition is also called a heel spur. During an endoscopic plantar fasciotomy, the surgeon cuts away the thin fascia on the bottom of the foot to relieve tension caused this inflammation.
