Medical Oncology

Medical oncology includes using chemotherapy, biotherapy and other new drugs to treat and prevent cancer. Most chemotherapy is given in an outpatient setting, such as a doctor’s office. This is because improvements to chemotherapy now allow doctors to better control its side effects.

Radiation oncology services are available at the St. Luke's Cancer Center at the Bethlehem UniversityAnderson and Allentown Campuses for all patients from St. Luke's University Health Network hospitals.
