The most fêted and enduring of the Auxiliary of St. Luke's Hospital activities is the annual Charity Ball. Behind it all stands the women and men of the Auxiliary whose commitment to caring has helped support many projects of St. Luke's Hospital - from furnishing the hospital's first location on Carpenter Street to Nursing School Scholarships and Programs to purchasing state of the art equipment. The monies raised from more than a century of Charity Balls have enriched the lives of our patients, students, staff and community. And today, St. Luke's has earned recognition as a Top 100 Hospital and received many other awards for clinical excellence.

Your philanthropic support and leadership of the Charity Ball plays an essential role in helping to improve the health status and quality of life in our community. We invite you to join us building on the past to assure continued access to medical care that is consistently recognized as among the best in the nation.

Thank you for your consideration and support of St. Luke's.

Strong History of Philanthropy

In the past eight years, the Ball has raised more than $2 million to support and fund the following initiatives:

  • Community Health Initiatives (2012)
  • Continuing Education and Development of our Network Nursing Staff (2011)
  • Temple University School of Medicine at St. Luke's (2010)
  • Diabetes and Endocrinology (2009)
  • Women's Maternity Care (2008)
  • Women's and Newborn Health Care (2007)
  • St. Luke's Cancer Center (2006)

Since 1912, the St. Luke's Charity Ball has been the keystone in the social and philanthropic fabric of our area. This would not be possible without the generous support and participation from our community. We look forward to having you join us for what promises to be another incredibly exciting evening.
