St. Luke's

Goal: Develop expertise in managing primary and complex issues in hospice and palliative medicine focusing on symptom management and communication skills.

Situated in the beautiful Lehigh Valley in Eastern Pennsylvania, St. Luke's Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship is committed to recruiting outstanding physicians to train in a unique and challenging interdisciplinary environment. The overall goal of this training experience is to teach physicians to manage clinical issues in hospice and palliative medicine. The fellowship offers excellent supervision and numerous opportunities for consultation while also providing a great deal of autonomy. Fellows provide care in a number of medical settings including an inpatient consultation service and an outpatient palliative medicine clinic. In addition, fellows see patients in an inpatient hospice unit and have a year-long continuity experience with a home hospice team.
