Sanjiv Agarwala, MD, Chairs Melanoma Symposium for the Tenth Consecutive Year in New York City
Bethlehem, PA (3/19/2013) - Medical oncologist and internationally recognized melanoma expert Sanjiv S. Agarwala, MD, Chief of Medical Oncology and Hematology for St. Luke's University Health Network and Editorial Board Member for HemOnc Today®, will serve as program director for the HemOnc Today® Melanoma and Other Cutaneous Malignancies meeting on March 22 and 23 in New York City.
Dr. Agarwala is chairing this premier melanoma meeting for the tenth consecutive year. “We're very excited to be offering such a prestigious melanoma meeting again in New York,” says Dr. Agarwala. “Our participants are exposed to the very latest melanoma information and research, and also will hear about data and results from several clinical studies conducted at St. Luke's.”

More About Dr. Agarwala
Dr. Agarwala is an internationally recognized investigator in the field of melanoma and immunotherapy. He presents nationally and internationally on melanoma and is a member of the Melanoma Core Committee of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG). In addition, he is a Professor of Medicine, Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Agarwala has published a variety of therapeutic approaches to melanoma and has led promising clinical trials in immunotherapy and targeted therapy of melanoma. He co-authored the book “Melanoma: Translational Research and Emerging Therapies” to help bridge the gap between research and clinical approaches to melanoma therapy.
