Bethlehem, PA (11/8/2010) - John M. Daly, MD, FACS, FRCPS (H) HAS, an internationally respected oncologic surgeon, author, researcher and academician, was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees of St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network.

Prolific Researcher and Author
Dr. Daly has served as the Dean of Temple University School of Medicine since 2002. He is a prolific researcher and author and has contributed to more than 350 publications. As principal investigator, he secured more than $10 million for research grants from the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Daly's areas of clinical expertise include cancer and immunologic research, as well as clinical nutrition. Other areas of expertise include physician competency and liability, surgical education and research, public policy and technology assessment.
