Dr. de Padua has extensive experience in the management of intractable epilepsy patients both with medications and with epilepsy surgery, as well as in the continuous video EEG monitoring of critically ill and obtunded patients. Dr. de Padua firmly believes that “good seizure control” consists of seizure freedom without treatment side effects, and that with continued efforts in expert hands, the majority of epilepsy patients can achieve this goal.
