Our Ambassadors welcome patients and their families to St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital and provides information on hospital services. (Adults only, please)

Tuesday or Thursday
9a - 12p

Ambulatory Procedure Unit

Greet patients coming in for procedures, discharge patients, make tea and toast for patients, provide patients with comfort items (pillows, blankets, etc), restock supplies and put together chart/OR packets. (Adults only, please)

7a - 11a

Emergency Department Volunteer

Volunteers in our Emergency Department spend time socializing and providing patients with non-clinical comfort items as well as assist our staff with various non-clinical duties, such as discharging patients, delivering supplies and other items throughout the hospital.  The Emergency Department is a very fast paced area! (Adults or Junior Volunteers)

Our messengers provide a well needed service to St. Luke's by transporting various different items (supplies, specimens, mail, etc) to many different locations within the hospital along with many other assistive requests. (Adults or Junior Volunteers)

Thursdays  or Fridays

Pastoral Care Visitor

Visits new admissions and acts as a liaison between patient and their home church. (Adults only, please)
