The 102nd St. Luke's Charity Ball, “Yellow Brick Road,” was dedicated to making tremendous strides in the care of the patients in our community who suffer from heart and vascular conditions. Fundraising efforts will advance important medical and surgical interventions, resulting in better and safer treatments while cures are sought and will help to ease the burden faced by families caring for a loved one with a heart or vascular condition.
As epitomized by the characters finding their way through the surreal landscape of Oz, a strong desire, a single purpose and an enduring spirit will always get you home…that is, after all, where the heart is.
Your philanthropic support and leadership of the Charity Ball plays an essential role in helping to improve the health status and quality of life in our community. We invite you to join us building on the past to assure continued access to medical care that is consistently recognized as among the best in the nation.
Thank you for your consideration and support of St. Luke's.
Strong History of Philanthropy
In the past eight years, the Ball has raised millions to support and fund the following initiatives:
- Neurologic Conditions (2013)
- Community Health Initiatives (2012)
- Continuing Education and Development of our Network Nursing Staff (2011)
- Temple University School of Medicine at St. Luke's (2010)
- Diabetes and Endocrinology (2009)
- Women's Maternity Care (2008)
- Women's and Newborn Health Care (2007)
- St. Luke's Cancer Center (2006)
Since 1912, the St. Luke's Charity Ball has been the keystone in the social and philanthropic fabric of our area. This would not be possible without the generous support and participation from our community. We look forward to having you join us for what promises to be another incredibly exciting evening.
